Wake Up!!!

The video installation Wake Up !!! (Despierta), was designed by Andrea Juan and Gabriel Penedo and is based on environmental issues.

Wake up !!! It is a two-channel video installation with water pump, timers, bed, blankets, curtains and many liters of water.

Wake Up !!! appeals to the viewer, through poetics and images, to awaken to an increasingly worrying reality.

Wake up !!! settles in our most intimate place, in our bedroom ...

It is an allegory that tells us that the consequences of this disaster, which today seem still distant, will come to us, modifying and affecting, dramatically, our own lives.
