Invisible Forest Blue

Invisible Forest Blue

Invisible Forest is a series of works carried out in 2009. The project is based on scientific reseach on the modification of the climate produced by marine phytoplankton, known by researchers as "The Invisible Forest", due to the similarity of the action they take to out on the seabed, and that is invisible to our eyes. Marine phytoplankton absorbs carbon dioxide and exhales oxygen, keeping the ecosystem stable and clean. The images of marine phytoplankton are real shots, recorded under a microscope, enlarged and regrouped. The groups of images were placed on a blue background (blue series) and edited on photographs in an action carried out on the seacoast.
